Lab12 is a state-of-the-art high-end manufacturer founded in 2012 by Stratos Vichos, an electronic engineer with expertise in audio designing for over 20 years and a deeply progressive vision for our beloved industry.
Years of passionate experiments, explorations, and R & D transformed Lab12 from a one-man operation at a little lab on the 12th of the street to a fast-growing venture. Tsakiridis Devices produces "affordable high-end" audio equipment for music lovers all over the world since it was established in 1987. We spent many years creating audio devices for ourselves and for enthusiast friends wanting to experience true "high-end" audio reproduction but without investing their life savings in the process! We enjoyed this so much that we decided to turn our passion into a business.

Signal Projects
It was several years ago that we began our journey into the amazing world of music and sound engineering. The conditions were far from ideal since we had to work inside a relatively small studio suite, with very old and low-quality recording devices that many times were blurring the outcome of our work. But our enthusiasm was such and we were so excited by this process because we felt we had the possibility to contribute a few more pages to the endless book of music history. However, apart from being excited, I distinctly remember being frustrated with the final copy’s sound quality. On some occasions, there were colorations in the mid-band, while on other occasions there was an irritating lack of detail and to make matters worse in many other instances there were annoying distortions that were produced by the old and limited-capabilities equipment.

Creating machines to reproduce music is a sacred task and should be done in the most delicate manner. Altering the recorded art in any way, even if it is done to make it more pleasant for personal taste or fancier, should not be accepted as high fidelity audio.
Most people spend their lives in noisy environments with fewer live music experiences. More and more settle for poor sources and or material. They are shifting their preference for more “circus-like” reproducing techniques with blown-up frequency extremes, sloppy bass, razor-sharp highs, artificial imaging, unnatural dimensions, and uninvolving mid.

Ypsilon Electronics was formed in 1995. Founded by two sound engineers with vast experience in the field of live music reproduction.
It was not only our experience with live music and live concerts that provided us with the necessary conditions to gain knowledge, it was also our technical background in electronics engineering, that contributed to formatting the concept of how a high-end audio device should perform as well as how reliable it should be.

Audio Technologies is a Greek company that was founded in 1982 in Athens.
Our laboratory is capable of research, design, and construction of the production line.
For simulation and research, we use Multisim for the circuit diagrams.
All chassis parts are made from aluminum.
Selected components include Transformers made in our laboratory. ICs from Texas-Instruments, Microchip, Analog-Devices, and Atmel. Capacitors from Wima, Elna, Panasonic, and Semicon. Selected vacuum tubes. Vishay resistors. Potentiometers from Alps and Vishay.

The full range, magneto-static membrane loudspeaker. Membrane loudspeakers are famous for their natural, lifelike sounding.
The magneto-static propulsion at a membrane loudspeaker is “le crème de la crème”. It offers undistorted, wide dynamics.
Dynamics means leaf into light air blow, whispers as exactly that and an orchestra at the crescendo, impresses as nothing less.
Almost all of today's membrane loudspeakers are using the
electro-static technique which is cheaper and easier to construct.
The magneto-static membrane loudspeakers not only use costly materials; they also need very skilled handcrafters to be properly made (no mass production here).

We believe that tube signal amplification is the way to go, but only if implemented without any compromise in any aspect. We do not use mainstream designs and tube types. We find that they fall short delivering music as they should be.
We only use transformer coupling throughout the signal chain, and give maximum attention to power supply design, using extensive choke regulation and polypropylene caps, removing every electrolytic cap from the signal chain. Our electronics are designed, built and tested in-house, using the highest quality components.
Special attention to customization in audio products. Custom speakers can be designed for any given room, driven by custom electronics designed for the purpose. Multiamplification can be implemented using tube crossovers and preamplifiers.
We can design and build any custom audio component that will match your existing equipment, or a whole system altogether, so a perfect audio chain is right in your living room giving a live performance every time you want to.

True Life Audio
T.L.A. was founded by Velissarios Georgiadis back in 1995, but its real origin goes back much further than this. It was back in 1957 when Velissarios' father Aristomenis, a transformer technician, started his own company, with the aim to make transformers under order for telecommunications, broadcast, medical, military, and industrial implementations. It was just after 1980 when Velissarios, who was already experienced in transformer building having been taught all his father's know-how, started to apply the additional knowledge that he gained from his university degree in Chemistry and Electronics to develop transformers that would excel in audio applications of a reference standard.
Velissarios developed, built, and tested over, countless amplifiers before he transferred all this experience to T.L.A products in the year 1995. The name True Life Audio was chosen to underline the target market of T.L.A. The search for True Life sound, where the listener would experience music at home as never before, In a True Life manner!
